When flowers dance in harmony on an elegant linen canvas, they create a delicate picture with botanical accents. Pansies, agapanthus, wisteria, and mauve flowers intertwine in this refined creation where nature is celebrated with gentleness and poetry.
Designed by Création Point de Croix, this composition is inspired by old illustrated herbariums and botanical plates of yesteryear. Each flower is accompanied by its name, while a delicate floral garland frames the whole, bringing balance and lightness to the embroidery. Shades of purple, soft pink, and blue create a soft and summery palette that naturally brightens the work.
The pattern was embroidered on a light linen fabric worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This fabric particularly highlights the details of the flowers, the delicate foliage, and the subtleties of the color gradations.
This creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on an Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric to obtain similar dimensions while simplifying the embroidery work.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC reference) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 190 stitches wide × 145 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery done on 11 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric approximately: 34.5 × 26.4 cm.
