With easy recipes like "My Melting Chocolate Cake", homemade treats become a breeze to prepare. A few carefully chosen ingredients, a little indulgence, and a lot of pleasure are all it takes to create this essential dessert that delights young and old alike.
This embroidered creation celebrates the art of family baking through a delicate staging combining recipe, ingredients, and charming decorative elements.
Designed by Marylène Verstraete, also known as Les Fanfreluches de Mary, this pattern elegantly blends the world of cooking with that of cross-stitch. Inspired by old recipe books passed down through generations, it is a decorative piece as delicious as it is timeless. An ideal creation to personalize a kitchen or to give as a gift to a homemade pastry enthusiast.
The pattern was embroidered on a natural-colored Belfast linen fabric, 12 threads/cm, with white dots, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This original fabric adds a lot of charm to the work and particularly highlights the refined details of the composition.
This creation can also be made on a DMC linen fabric, 11 threads/cm, embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on an Aida fabric, 5.5 stitches/cm, to achieve slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 138 stitches wide × 138 stitches high.
On 12 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 threads: approximately 23 × 23 cm.
On 11 threads/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: approximately 25.1 × 25.1 cm.
Both warm, refined, and deliciously nostalgic, this piece pays homage to homemade desserts and the moments of sharing that accompany them.
